Earlier, India scored 190 for six against West Indies thanks to contributions from Dinesh Karthik and Rohit Sharma, who both scored superb 64s. India performed well in its first at-bat thanks to Rohit and Suryakumar Yadav. However, as per cricket match highlights, India quickly lost Suryakumar and Shreyas Iyer, giving the victory to the West Indies. Prior to Karthik's counterattack, India continued to lose wickets at regular intervals before reaching a respectable score.

TOSS - West Indies have won the toss and BOWL first.

The Indian team is seen huddling up as the umpire enters the field and the players return. For West Indies, Shamarh Brooks and Kyle Mayers will start the inning. As usual, Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be the one to kick off play for India. West Indies failed to finish strong. Although their pacers were originally thoroughly beaten, they did manage to claim two wickets during the Powerplay. For the hosts, only Akeal Hosein was cost-effective. The pacers, however, had several leaks. Nicholas Pooran kept five players in the middle for the final two overs, but they ended up giving up 36 runs and lost the advantage. Now it's up to the hitters to chase down this lofty goal and take the series by storm. For all sides, there is a lot at stake. Please join us when the second essay is ready as per cricket highlights.

Come Back of the Team

India lost its way in the middle, but veteran Dinesh Karthik is still excelling in his new position. Both Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav performed admirably early on against the pace, but Suryakumar Yadav struggled against Akeal Hosein's spin. Yadav twice came close to being caught, but luck was on his side. However, he did manage to escape with a terrible shot choice the third time. Later, Pant was the only partner Rohit Sharma could find to manage events on the other end. The two combined for a 43-run partnership, which ranks third best in this Indian innings. After Pant was out, the visitors began to lose wickets often, which placed them in trouble. Sharma was out on 64 after failing to finish his innings. The situation for India might have been worse if not for Karthik and Ashwin.

A remarkable change in India's momentum To put 190 runs on the board, Dinesh Karthik and Ravichandran Ashwin put together the innings' biggest stand. West Indies would believe they wasted one or two opportunities to use the ball in the final overs, setting up a challenging run chase. Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian team, says that he is prepared to play and that, given the number of games they play, it has been beneficial to have some downtime. The stadium is nice looking, and it's great to see so many spectators there, but they still need to see how the wicket performs. Mentions how certain players have changed since the ODI series, including Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Jason Holder to SKY

FOUR! Suryakumar Yadav doesn't seem to be opening for the first time. Outside off, at the back of a length. Yadav reclines and firmly pushes it through the blankets. It passes through the opening and sprints toward the border.

Jason Holder to Rohit Sharma

BOOM! Six Rohit Sharma joins the celebration as well. It is a continuous, on-off delivery. For the first maximum of the innings, Sharma dances down the track and blasts it over the long off boundary.
