Mostly in cricket, match fixing happens in every match. They are entirely or patricianly pre-determined results. This is generally breaking the rules of the game or, often, the law. In some matches, bookmakers select players, and they have to follow their decision. Sometimes they also throw a bride to the matches or provide information. Both test matches and one-day international match-fixing are fixed in the domestic cricket of India. Later there was an issue regarding the ban of the international cricket council governing body poof sports and all other respective cricket boards, according to the team players of India. A ban was due to match-fixing and spot-fixing, but the ICC cricket code of conduct properly reconciles both bans. Earlier, cricket fix was the most common.

There is hope for all the fans of cricket matches in 2021 that they will see all the faces of their favorite cricketers that they missed in 2022, all the crickets like domestic cricket league and international cricket happening all over the world this year. The demand for all the fans is again increased. There are several IPL match videos that depict proximity to match fixing and these engrave mistrust among audiences.

Moreover, not all cricketers had a memorable 2021, but many were punished for the misleading facts they did inside the stadium while playing matches. The international cricket council ICC is now back with strict guidelines to fix all the corruption and wrongdoings in the sports industry. For years many players were banned due to their unethical and illegal work.

The article contains the list of international players who have been banned in 2021

  • Heath streak

Former Zimbabwean all-rounder Heath Streak played in 189 ODI games and 65 Tests. In the Indian Cricket League, Streak also competed for the Ahmedabad Rockets. His contributions to the Zimbabwean cricket team have earned him the appreciation of many cricket fans.

However, due to his activities that violated the anti-corruption policy, the ICC banned Heath Streak for eight years from playing cricket. The claims claim that Streak released insider information during the 2018 IPL, the 2018 Zimbabwe-Afghanistan series, the 2018 Zimbabwe-Bangladesh-Sri Lanka tri-series, and the 2018 Afghanistan Premier League.

  • Dilhara Lokuhettige

Former fast bowler for Sri Lanka, Dilhara Lokuhettige. The 40-year-old played in two T20I matches and nine ODI games for the island nation. Interestingly, in 2013, he played his final ODI match against the Men in Blue after making his ODI debut against India.

On his opening ODI, the right-arm medium-fast bowler dismissed Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni. He was unable to become successful, though. Because of his involvement in match-fixing about a T20 competition that took place in the UAE in 2017, Lokuhettige was given an 8-year suspension in April 2021.

  • Shaiman Anwar

One of the best cricketers to represent the UAE in international competitions. In cricketing circles, Shaiman Anwar rose to prominence during the 2015 World Cup. He was one of the United Arab Emirates' top competitors and performers.

The player from Sialkot, however, was given an 8-year suspension in 2021 due to his attempt to manipulate games. According to sources, Anwar attempted to rig matches during the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier.

  • Mohammed Naveed

Mohammad Naveed is another player from the United Arab Emirates squad to be listed here. He is a bowling all-rounder with 39 ODI and 31 T20I appearances.

During the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier, Naveed attempted to rig games similarly to Shaiman Anwar. Anwar and Naveed both received bans on the same day.

  • Nuwan Zoysa

Nuwan Zoysa, a former fast bowler for the Deccan Chargers, was given a six-year suspension for his efforts to rig games. Zoysa was judged accountable for her efforts to rig matches.

The former Sri Lankan pacer also failed to disclose the dishonest approaches from bookmakers. He was thus given a six-year ban. The ICC suspended these five players from international cricket so far in 2021.

  • Mohammad Azharuddin

It is disappointing that a player of Mohammad Azharuddin's caliber became engaged in a significant match-fixing incident. Azharuddin is one of the modern period's most outstanding Indian leaders and batsmen. Before Sachin Tendulkar gained notoriety, Azharuddin was primarily regarded as India's top batsman, with 22 Test hundreds and more than 15,000 international runs to his name.

Azharuddin was one of the most fashionable batsmen of all time and is renowned for his exceptional wristwork. As Hansie Cronje submitted accusations against Azharuddin while admitting his own involvement in the match-fixing controversy, he became entangled in it. It was widely reported that Azharuddin had initially introduced Cronje to the bookies because he has long-standing relationships with them.

As information about Azharuddin's purported dubious connections to the Mumbai mafia slowly became public, his illustrious career hit a new low. The BCCI and ICC both imposed a lifetime ban on him in 2000. A few years later, the Andhra Pradesh High Court overturned the BCCI ban, but the ICC has failed to do the same.

  • S.Sreesanth

One of the greatest Indian fast bowlers in history, S Sreesanth, is regrettably recognized today for the wrong reasons. Sreesanth could produce ferocious bursts of pure fast bowling when the situation called for it.

He was also one of Greg Chappell's new Team India's most promising young cricketers, a player who fought fire with fire. Who could ever forget Sreesanth's 5 for 40 stints in Johannesburg, which enabled India to win a renowned match by reducing South Africa to a meager 84 runs? Sreesanth, a well-known cricketer who played with passion, frequently found himself in hot water because of his emotional instability. He was a typical instance of a fast bowler with discipline problems.

Sreesanth was detained in May 2013 on suspicion of spot-fixing during the IPL; he eventually admitted to the allegations.

He was proven to have received Rs. 40 lakh for a set no-ball he bowled in a game against the Kings XI Punjab and was therefore found guilty of the crime. Because of his emotional instability, Sreesanth, a well-known cricketer who played with passion, frequently got himself in trouble. His situation was typical of a fast bowler who struggled with discipline.

Sreesanth was taken into custody in May 2013 on accusations of spot-fixing during the IPL; he later confessed to the charges. He was found guilty of the crime when it was established that he had taken Rs. 40 lakh for a set no-ball he bowled during a match against the Kings XI Punjab. The cricketing community was shocked and outraged when information about how he had used his towel as a code for the bookies later surfaced.

Sreesanth would still be a good fast bowler in an ideal scenario, spearheading India's assault with great hunger and drive. Instead, he is remembered in the annals of cricket as the bad boy of Indian cricket.
