Brilliant Bumrah Takes 6-19 | Highlights – England v India | 1st Men’s Royal London ODI 2022

India beat 50-over world champions England by 10 wickets in Tuesday's opening one-day international at the Oval. Fast bowler Bumrah record his career’s best 6-19, helping the hosts bowl for just 110 runs in 25.2 overs.

In the above Bumrah video, we have shown some ENG vs IND highlights.

After winning the toss favorably, India's skipper Rohit Sharma scored an unbroken 76 before Shikhar Dhawan (31 not out) ran out Brydon Carse for four, and the scoreboard reached 114-0 with more than 31 overs remaining.

The victory gives India, the 2023 World Cup hosts, a 1-0 lead in the three-match series, which starts on Thursday at Lord's on the opposite side of London's River Thames.

As per Jasprit Bumrah record, he bowled a four-wicket opening burst in five overs against an England team that may have had their best batting lineup at this level since winning the 2019 World Cup final.

Against Australia at Old Trafford in 2001, England averted the humiliation of being removed for less than their all-time worst completed ODI total of 86.

However, England was bowled out with just under half of their 50 overs remaining due to an innings that included four ducks in the top six — Jason Roy, Joe Root, Ben Stokes, and Liam Livingstone were all out for nothing.

To surpass his lone another five-wicket haul of his 71-match ODI career—5-27 against Sri Lanka at Pallekele five years ago—Bumrah, 28, returned and took care of Brydon Carse and David Willey.

In his 80th appearance, Bumrah's partner with the baller, Mohammed Shami, took 3-31 in seven overs to become the fastest Indian and joint-third fastest to 150 ODI wickets.

Only four players in England's innings reached double digits, with skipper Jos Buttler leading the way with 30 and Willey reaching 21.

The faster bowlers were given an advantage by the cloudy skies and the well-grassed wicket, but India's new-ball pair still put on an excellent performance.

The mood was set when Roy attempted to drive Bumrah's fourth ball of the day while playing on his Surrey home field. The top-ranked Test batsman in the world, Root, was dismissed two balls later by a Bumrah delivery that lifted off a decent length.

After inside-edging a drive off Mohammed Shami in the following over, Test skipper Stokes was wonderfully caught by diving wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant for a golden duck.

Jonny Bairstow, who had just scored 200 in England's seven-wicket victory over India in the fifth Test, postponed by Covid, at Edgbaston, was out for seven after edging a superb Bumrah delivery to Pant, who took a diving right-handed catch.

Root, Stokes, and Bairstow were absent from the most recent T20 series, which India won 2-1.

The famous trio hadn't competed in a 50-over match since England won New Zealand in the World Cup final at Lord's three years prior.

When Livingstone crossed his crease to begin the eighth over, England was 26-5, and Bumrah cleanly bowled him with a leg-stump as shown in the above Jasprit Bumrah video.

Buttler attempted to change the course of the match by hitting six fours out of the 32 balls he faced, but instead, he hoisted Shami to deep square leg, where Suryakumar Yadav held a wise catch just inside the rope.

No. 11 With a well-placed drive off Yuzvendra Chahal's leg-spin, Reece Topley scored England's first and only six. However, the innings were over two balls later when Bumrah struck Willey with a lightning-fast yorker to dismiss him.

Rohit got going fast and hammered Willey and Craig Overton with legside sixes. To complete a 49-ball fifty that included six fours, he also hooked Carse for a six.
